How You Made Us Feel Special

NOVEMBER 2007 - Happy Thanksgiving weekend! How have you all been? Sorry for not writing for a while! Hopefully I can squeeze it all in today :P

Anyway, Soul Distraction is now playing without Tim and Don. They were a crucial part of the songwriting in our debut album, The Truth Pill. We hope that they will succeed in their next projects. Give them your support still. I am sure you will enjoy their talents as much as when they were still with us.

So yes, if you're wondering, our sound has slightly changed as well. Feedback from the last three performances however, were positive and we really appreciate the sincerity.

"I can hear everyone now!"

That's what most of you guys say. I guess, that's cool because we want to be heard! :D

Rich, Marty and myself just got back from a kick-ass convention in LA. It was organized by TAXI. If you're unsure of whom they are, do visit www.TAXI.com. Basically, they are the bridge for musicians who are really serious about this business and plan to do this as a career.
If you're a songwriter, you should seriously check this company out! :)
Returning from the convention, we are all CHARGED UP. We have about 30 songs right now that we are working on. We are still around, here and there and will perform for private shows but our main goal is to write and record (for own usage) these new songs!
Plus, it's also time for us to concentrate more on networking. Every single one of you is important to us and you don't need to be anyone "big" in this industry. We just want to know who you are.
